Most of the accommodation is dormitory, so you would be sharing with other participants. We have a limited number of rooms that are available for single, twin and triple occupancy (additional cost). Please contact us for further details.
2. Can I have a room to myself?
Yes - although this will incur a single occupancy charge. Please contact us for further details. (see above - #1)
3. Do you provide towels?
Towels can be provided at an additional cost of £ 1. Let us know in advance or upon arrival if you would like one.
4. Are hairdryers provided?
There are hairdryers available - if you can be bothered spending time standing drying it!
5. Do you cater for vegans / vegetarians?
We cater for all diets, allergies etc. Please just let us know in advance of any specific dietary requirements.
6. I have never done trail running before, only road running. Is this event suitable for me?
You should be able to run a road 10K comfortably. We cater for all running abilities and will make sure that you are paired up with a running guide at all times. Trail running shoes are essential.
7. I have never run more than a 10K before - does that matter?
Absolutely not - we cater for all running abilities and will make sure that you are paired up with a running guide at all times.
8. I am not a runner at all - can I still attend?
This event is primarily aimed at runners. There are plenty of other activities that you can do on the island - walking, swimming, cycling - so, if you want to bring along a non-running friend, they would be more than welcome. We would, however, have to charge them at the same rate as a running participant.
9. I am a really slow runner - would this weekend be suitable for me?
There is no such thing as a slow runner. You should be able to run a road 10K comfortably - and it doesn’t matter how long that takes you. We cater for all running abilities and will make sure that you are paired up with a running guide at all times.

It was much more than a running retreat.
To run with locals, visit places and learn all about the island added so much more.
I thoroughly enjoyed it. The best thing was meeting and running with people who live here as it felt like we were being invited in
Loads of encouragement, support and flexibility, choice on route and distance and pace gave me the confidence to keep moving and to fit in wherever I felt comfortable. Every single guide has my utmost admiration they all made sure that every one in the group was taken care of, I felt so safe and confident in their care and above all they made me feel I could do it. I’m in awe of all these strong brilliant women, personally I wouldn’t change a thing, it worked for me, Thank you all.
Thank you Katrin, Lesley, Steph, Sarah and Tamsin for your encouragement, patience, kindness along the runs, you have all made my experience such fun and I’ll never forget it.
It was great! I loved the trails and runs, and everyone was really friendly. I hope to make it back sometime in the future.
